Azersun Holding representatives visited mass grave in Guba in connection with the Genocide Day of Azerbaijanis, source from the holding told Trend .
Azersun Holding has also provided organizational assistance for Baku public association of the disabled and war veterans to visit the mass graves and to commemorate the genocide victims.
In March 1918, Stepan Shaumyan's Dashnak-Bolshevik government seized power and launched genocide against the Azerbaijani people. 700,000 Azerbaijanis were killed during a few days beginning from March 24 of 1918 year by Armenians. They also completely destroyed 75 Shamakhi, 122 Guba and 115 Zangazur villages. Under the decree signed by National Leader Heydar Aliyev in 1998, March 31 is marked as the Day of Azerbaijanis Genocide.
