All internally displaced people received necessary assistance in the areas of natural disaster, deputy Prime-Minister, chairman of the State Committee for refugees and internally displaced people, Ali Hasanov, said.
According to him, all displaced people from areas affected by floods in time were evacuated and placed in safe areas.
"About 300 internally displaced people were evacuated in Saatli and Sabirabad regions of Azerbaijan. They asked to move them to their relatives in the surrounding areas and we have created the necessary conditions for their resettlement," Hasanov said.
He said that displaced people living in Goygol area suffered most of all. "We allocated places for them at the village Veisili of Geranboy region. But they asked us to help them on the spot. The State Committee together with the ministry of emergency situations' staff have created the necessary conditions," deputy prime minister said.
