Ayla Ahmadova and Dilara Sultanova became the absolute winners of the international tournament in acrobatic gymnastics held in Kazakhstan.

Coach Irada Gurbanova said that they got the highest scores on the basis of three exercises - 87 points. They were rather ahead of Russian acrobats ranking second, the Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation said.

"At this tournament I was able to try out our new combination, which we will soon perform at the World Championship in Poland. I saw defects and rivals, coach said. Ayla and Dilara as the 2009 European champions have received special invitations to perform among those other renowned acrobats at the opening event. They triggered delight of the audience. I modernize my judicial skills, estimating competing couples during all three competition days. 

Girls, as well as Rustam Najafguliev, Elchin Mammadov, will go to the Central Asian region in a few days. They will be in the capital of Uzbekistan in the final training on the eve of the championship in Wroclaw from June 24-July 12.

Meanwhile, the international tournament in rhythmic gymnastics among juniors completed in another Uzbek town - Navoi.

Azerbaijan was represented by five gymnasts, three of whom won medals. A thirteen-year-old Leila Huseynli in her age category, won a silver medal. An eleven-year-old Narmin Huseynova ranked again second. A twelve-year-old Nilufyar Niftaliyeva ranked third, and a fifteen-year-old Kamala Mustafayeva was awarded by the organizers of the tournament with a title "Miss Grace".
