The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has organized the second annual summer camp for diabetic kids in Azerbaijan. The camp opened today in Ganja.
Thirty diabetic children are taking part in the 15-day summer camp. The camp opened its doors to children who have been deprived of parental care or come from IDP families.
The camp will also educate young leaders in medical and psychological aid for diabetic children.
Endocrinologists, psychologists and other professionals will work with the children to help them develop skills and increase their self-esteem.
The children will also visit historical sites in Ganja during the camp, study English, write essays, and put their physical and mental strength to the test in various games and sports.
