5 prisoners escaped from a prison in Isfahan by digging a 32 kilometers tunnel, ISNA reported Sunday quoting the judiciary chief in Isfahan Gholam Reza Ansari as saying.
"Six prisoners attempted to escape by digging a tunnel and run out of prison by threatening a soldier but one of the prisoners stuck in tunnel and arrested," he said.
One of the prisoners was convicted for murder and 5 others were accused of armed robbery.
