An event dedicated to alternative and renewable energy was held in Baku.
The Center for Strategic Research (CSR) under the Azerbaijani President and the Black Sea Centre for International Studies held a roundtable "Renewable energy of enhanced Black Sea region and climate change" within the Azerbaijani-Greek forum "Green energy trends".
The event discussed climate change and use of renewable energy, as well as mobilization of financial resources for adaptation to climate change.
Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Huseyngulu Bagirov, Deputy Director of the State Alternative and Renewable Energy Agency Jamil Malikov, CEO of the International Centre for Black Sea Studies Zefi Dimadama, Deputy Director of the UN Development Program in Azerbaijan Nato Alhazishvili and other local and foreign experts attended the event.
