Azerbaijani gymnast Zohra Agamirova with a score of 20.050 qualified to the final of European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in exercises with a hoop, Trend reports.

The finalists of the 35th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in hoop exercises were determined in the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on May 17.

According to the results, Dina Averina (Russia, 22.300 points), Boryana Kaleyn (Bulgaria, 21.650 points), Katsiaryna Halkina (Belarus, 21.400 points), Anastasiia Salos (Belarus, 21.250 points), Nicol Zelikman (Israel, 21.250 points), Vlada Nikolchenko (Ukraine, 20.700 points), Neviana Vladinova (Bulgaria, 20.400 points) and Zohra Agamirova (Azerbaijan, 20.050 points) qualified for the final.

The 35th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships will last until May 19. During the four-day championships, senior female gymnasts will perform in the individual program, while junior gymnasts will participate in the group exercise program. Athletes from 35 countries are taking part in the championships.

Azerbaijan is represented by Zohra Agamirova and Veronika Hudis in the individual program, and a team consisting of Madina Asadova, Laman Alimuradova, Seljan Hajizade, Milana Akbarova, Farida Safiyarzade in group exercises.
