Director General of Trend News Agency Ilgar Huseynov, Head of Trend News Agency's Foreign Projects Directorate Rufiz Hafizoglu met with TURKPA Secretary General Mehmet Sureyya Er on Feb. 21, Trend reports.
During the meeting, Mehmet Sureyya Er was informed about the Turkic.World project, the first Turkic digital media platform created by Trend News Agency and Turkish Albayrak Media Group which combines the news of the Turkic-speaking countries.
The official media agencies of all Turkic-speaking countries have already joined the media platform and the media platform is publishing news in eight languages.
The broad coverage of TURKPA’s activity on the platform was also discussed.
TURKPA secretary general expressed gratification with the visit and stressed the importance of cooperation in the field of media.
While speaking about the development of cooperation among the Turkic-speaking countries in various fields, Mehmet Sureyya Er stressed the importance of developing cooperation in the field of media.
