Azeri Mount-Climbers Left For Agridag

A team of Azerbaijani mount-climbers on an international expedition traveled to Turkey to climb Mount Agridag Saridan Mursakulov, leader of national team and chief of Republican Mountaineering Club, told Trend the trip is taking place on the anniversary of Mustafa Kamal Ataturk, Founder of Turkey. В"The expedition promised to be a wide-scale event with participation of sportsmen from Russia, Ukraine and other Countries. We have been on Agridag before but for obvious reasons this trip will be something specialВ", underlined Mursakulov.

During the last month Azerbaijani mount-climbers ascended to Independence Peak (former Lenin Peak) and then went on to climb to Mount Domovend in Iran.
