Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / The draft law on Regulations on Ethical Behaviour of State Employees has been submitted to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for signing. According to the Chairman of the Commission on State Service Issues at the Administration of Azerbaijani President, Bahram Khalilov, the draft law was adopted by the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) after the third reading. The law defines the regulations and principles of ethical behaviour of state employees, as well as legal mechanisms for implementing the instructions.
After developing relevant proposals for improvement of legislation in the field of state service, the Commission will submit them to the parliament. According to Khalilov, a working group has been formed with assistance from the UN Development Program for this purpose. The working group will complete the work in a month.
