Daniel Craig was heavily criticized by diehard James Bond fans when he landed the role of 007 in 2006's re-incarnation of Casino Royale, but the Children Of Men star believes "all the shit" Craig was given was unnecessary - and insists the actor was always more than capable of filling the iconic superspy role.
He says, "They should have been celebrating the fact they gave the role to a proper actor and not a model."He swung it around big time."
