BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 31. The industrial goods and services reached 11.2 billion manat ($6.6 billion) in Azerbaijan’s Baku city from January through February 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Baku City Statistics Department.
According to the message, 84.3 percent of that volume accounted for the mining industry, 13.2 percent - for the manufacturing industry, 1.9 percent - for the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.6 percent - for water supply, waste treatment, and processing.
The share of the private sector in the industry reached 90 percent. The share of industrial products in the total production volume reached 94.7 percent, industrial services - by 5.3 percent.
There were stocks of finished products worth 368.7 million manat ($216.9 million) in the warehouses of industrial enterprises as of March 1, 2022, most of the products were sent to consumers, taking into account the stocks accumulated in the previous periods.
Moreover, there were other products worth 78.4 million manat ($46.1 million) purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale in the warehouses of industrial enterprises.
