BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22. Türkiye increased volume of car exports to Iran by 74 percent (to $65.2 million) from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year, Turkish Trade Ministry told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
Türkiye increased car exports to Iran by 87.6 percent (to $11.6 million) in May compared to the same month in 2021.
Export of cars from Türkiye increased by 3.8 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $12.5 billion.
Türkiye exported cars worth $2.3 billion in May 2022, up 22.4 percent from May last year.
Türkiye has exported vehicles worth a total of $29.8 billion over the past 12 months (from May 2021 through May 2022).
