BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Azerbaijan's exports totaled $22.6 billion from January through July 2022, out of which $1.7 billion fell on non-oil exports (growth of 24.2 percent compared to the same period the previous year), Trend reports via the "Export review" of the country's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

According to the review, Azerbaijani exports of fruits and vegetables amounted to $376.9 million in the reporting period, up by 11.5 percent against the same period of 2021.

From January through July 2022, Azerbaijani exports of chemical products increased by 3,6 times, aluminum and products thereof - by 99 percent, ferrous metals and products thereof – by 28.1 percent, cotton fiber – by 5.4 percent, tea – by 57.2 percent compared to the same period of 2021.

In July 2022, Azerbaijan's exports amounted to $4.1 billion, while non-oil exports accounted for $224.6 million of the total volume. During this period, Azerbaijani food exports increased by 43.7 percent, reaching $61.7 million, whereas non-food products – by 9.5 percent, up to $162.9 million.
