BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. Azerbaijan's export of non-oil products increased by 17 percent from January through September 2022, compared to the same period last year and amounted to $2.1 billion, Trend reports via the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

The total value of Azerbaijan's non-oil exports amounted to $3.3 billion in September 2022, out of which $231.2 million fell on non-oil export. This figure increased by 2.9 percent compared to the same month last year ($224.7 million).

According to the report, Azerbaijani food exports increased by 7.4 percent, reaching $49.7 million, whereas the export of non-food products increased by 1.7 percent, up to $181.6 million.

Most of the exports of non-oil products fell on the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products from January through September 2022, the value of which amounted to $591.5 million, which is 12.7 percent more compared to the same period in 2021.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijani exports of fruits and vegetables accounted for 92.9 percent of the total volume of agricultural products.

Azerbaijani exports of chemical products increased by 2.4 times, aluminum and products thereof – by 38 percent, ferrous metals and products thereof – by 20.7 percent.

The total value of Azerbaijan's export amounted to $29.5 billion from January through September 2022.
