BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. The AzerGold CJSC plans to put in commission three gold fields in 2023, Trend reports referring to the AzerGold CJSC.
The AzerGold CJSC plans to start gold mining in the following deposits located on the administrative territory of Goygol near the "Chovdar" deposit: "Agyokhush-2", "Agyokhush-3", and "Tulallar".
"The approved total stock of gold in the "Agyokhush-2" and "Agyokhush-3" deposits is 31,507 ounces, and that in the "Tulallar" deposit - 84,787 ounces. The processing of the extracted material will be realized in the "Chovdar" integral regional processing area located in Dashkasan," said the CJSC.
In November 2022, the paper on the evaluation of the ecological and social effects on the environment from the realization of these projects received a positive conclusion from the State Agency for Environmental Expertise under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The exploitation of the mentioned deposit is going to bring hundreds of millions of manat to the country's economy, promote the development of the non-oil sector, create new job opportunities, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the state.
