BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. The total volume of Türkiye's steel export to Azerbaijan grew by 22.6 percent on annual basis in 2022, the Turkish Trade Ministry told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
According to the ministry, the value of Turkish steel export to Azerbaijan last year totaled $134.6 billion.
In December 2022, the volume of steel exports from Türkiye to Azerbaijan increased by 16.5 percent compared to the same month in 2021.
During the reporting month, Türkiye exported steel worth $13.2 million to Azerbaijan.
Meanwhile, Türkiye totally exported steel worth $1.3 billion to international markets, which is 40.8 percent less than in December 2021.
In 2022, the total volume of Turkish steel export abroad decreased by 5.3 percent year on year, and the export value amounted to $21.1 billion.
