BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 26. The cost of paid services provided to the population in Baku increased by 15.5 percent compared to the same indicator in 2022 and amounted to 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion) from January through May 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Baku City Statistics Department, legal entities provided services to the population of Baku for 2.3 billion manat ($1.3 billion) during the specified period, which amounted to 84.4 percent of the total cost of rendered services.
The cost of paid services provided to the population in Baku in 2022 increased by 9.1 percent compared to 2021 and amounted to 5.7 billion manat ($3.3 billion).
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan in 2022 increased by 8 percent compared to 2021 and amounted to 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion).
