BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. The export of chemicals from Türkiye from January through June 2023 decreased by 13.5 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to $14.6 million, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, Türkiye exported chemicals worth $2.3 million in June of this year, which is 25.3 percent less in comparison with June last year.
Over the past 12 months (June 2022 - June 2023), Türkiye exported chemicals worth $31.2 million.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's total chemical exports value decreased from January through May 2023, this figure amounted to $12.3 billion, down by 10.5 percent on an annual basis.
From May 2022 through May 2023, the country exported chemical products worth $32.1 billion.
