Azerbaijan to hold next placement of mortgage fund's bonds

On Sept. 28, the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund under the Central Bank (AMF) will place its interest-registered bonds worth 3 million manat at the Baku Stock Exchange, the fund said on Sept. 28.

The bonds will be presented for sale at the current price of 100,866.6 manat. Those wishing to purchase bonds can apply to brokers, members of the Baku Stock Exchange.

Maturity date is May 10, 2016.  In case that demand exceeds supply, all applications will be provided in a proportional manner. The Azerbaijani Central Bank will be a primary organizer of placement.

The prospectus of the AMF bonds has been registered by the State Committee on Securities on May 29, 2009.

The total emission is 55 million manat with interest rate of 3 percent per annum.

The primary placement of the AMF bonds was held on June 16. So far, AMF bonds worth 30 million manat have been placed.

On Sept. 28, the official exchange rate is 0.8035 manat to $1.
