The deflation rates in Azerbaijan made up 0.06 percent in May, according to Center for Economic Researches NGO. Consumer prices in Baku last month fell by 0.06 percent, in the regions of the country - 0.05 percent.
"Inflation over the five months amounted to 2.41 percent, but 6.52 percent in May compared to the same month of the last year," the organization said.
