Iran's ambassador to the Netherlands said the sanctions against Iran were of no avail and recently over 100 Dutch businessmen have signed a statement to object to these sanctions.

"The sanctions are a weak issue. Sanctions have been imposed on us since the victory of the revolution. Along with the imposed war, there have been sanctions against us which have actually led to innovations in our country," Kazem Gharib-Abadi added.

He went on to say, "Basically these sanctions are mostly to the loss of countries that have imposed them. During the time of the sanctions in some cases trade volume to Europe increased. This shows that they do not want to lose the Iranian market and safeguard their profits. If they want to create obstacles for doing business with Iran we will easily put them aside and find other places to supply our needs."
