Azerbaijani-Latvian Business Forum was held at the Radisson Hotel in Riga on Jan. 16-18, which hosted a presentation of the Baku White City project.
The Business Forum, which covered the issues of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia, was organized as part of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's official visit to this country.
Latvian and Azerbaijani businessmen were informed that the Baku White City project, developed upon the order by the Baku Executive Power with the participation of such world famous companies as Atkins, Foster + Rartners (UK) and F + A Architects (USA), will change and extend such a understanding as a modern center of our capital, contributing to a significant increase in the length of the Baku Boulevard. It was emphasized and that the Baku White City project is an excellent investment opportunity, as well as provides special privileges for the investors.
Baku White City Project carried out within the context of the Decree of Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Azerbaijan Republic, entitled "Comprehensive action plan for improving the ecological conditions in the Azerbaijan Republic during 2006 - 2010", will contribute to creating a new modern city center, as well as developing capital infrastructure of a new type.
