Kapital Bank participated in the International Cards and Payments Summit 2011, which took place from February 14-16 in Dubai, the UAE.
Organized by the Fleming Gulf FZE, the summit featured presentations on advanced payment technologies and business strategies. Representatives of banks and financial institutions of different countries exchanged experience and discussed a range of issues, in particular the possibilities of mobile connection in payment system and ways of preventing financial crimes during money transfers.
Kapital Bank is a principal member of the MasterCard International and VISA International payment systems. The bank issues different types of cards. In 2010 the number of Kapital Bank`s active plastic cards exceeded two millions. The bank created its own processing system and now continues efforts to develop the retail segment.
