Iran's inflation rate increases

Iran's inflation rate increased by 0.4 percent in last month of Iranian solar year(ended May 20, 2011) comparing with the previous month, ILNA reported quoting Central Bank of Iran Head Mahmoud Bahmani as saying.

The inflation rate was 12 .4 percent at the end of last solar year (ended March 20) , while it increased to 13 .2 percent until 20 April, 2011.

International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicted in its April report that Iran's inflation rate would increase to 22.5 percent in 2011 compared to 2010.
