Iran will sign a deal with a private Turkish company to export 3 to 4 million cubic meters of gas per day during current solar year (started on March 20,2011), SHANA reported quoting Deputy Oil Minister Javad Ouji as saying. He didn't say the name of Turkish company.

"The price of gas was main challenge of Iran and private Turkish company, fortunately two sides reached agreement," he said.

Iran exports 3 to 4 mcm gas per day to this company via its borders separately while currently exports 20 to 25 mcm gas per day to Turkey, he added.

The gas deal will be sign in current solar year due to agreements, the private Turkish company requires gas to converse it to LNG.

Iran annually exports more than 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Turkey. Iran has OPEC's second-highest oil output, and ranks second in the world in terms of natural gas reserves after Russia.
