The state budget income comprised 728.7 million manat (3.2 percent of GDP) as of January-June 2011, the Finance Ministry said.

The revenues of the state budget hit 5.610.8 billion manat, but expenditures - 4.882.1 billion manat.
The budget revenues were executed at 110.9 percent, or 552.6 million manat more than forecasted and indices for the same period of 2010 - by 688.1 million manat, or 14 percent.

The forecast executed by the Ministry of Taxes was 125.3 percent, and the tax authorities ensured transferring 2.562.9 million manat to the state budget, or 517.2 million manat more than forecasted and by 27.9 percent, or 559.1 million manat more than the figure for the same period of last year.

The State Customs Committee executed the forecast by 100.1 percent and transferred 542.4 million manat to the treasury or 0.8 million manat more than forecasted and by 20.4 percent, or 91.8 million manat more than the same period of last year. SOFAZ's transfers amounted to 2.461 billion manat. Other revenues hit 44.5 million manat, or 4.5 times, or 34.6 million manat more than forecasted and 31.2 million manat or 3.3 times more than for the same period of last year.

During the reporting period, the state budget expenditures were executed at 94.8 percent, or 14.2 percent, or 605.4 million manat more compared to the corresponding period of last year. The costs of servicing the public debt amounted to 48.6 million manat (one percent of total costs), increasing by 21.8 percent or 8.7 million manat.

The socially-oriented expenditures hit $ 1.9 billion manat (38.4 percent of total expenditures) increasing by 11.9 percent, or 199 million manat per year.

About 62.1 million manat, or 10.2 percent more was spent from the budget on social security and protection of the population of the budget than a year earlier, on education - 50.9 million manat (9.9 percent), health care - 34.4 million manat (21.2 percent), the prosecution, security, law enforcement and judicial bodies - 11,5 million manat (4.1 percent). The costs for housing and utilities of the total investment increased by 5.8 million manat (6.7 percent), agriculture, forestry and fishing - 31 million manat (22 percent), transport and communications - 3.2 million manat (15.2 percent).

According to the project, budget expenditures are projected at 15.941.2 million manat.
