The Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents accredited bodies for certification of building materials, furniture and imported products, the committee reported on Wednesday.
The two bodies' activities were coordinated on quality management systems.
Azsertservis is accredited in the system of national accreditation as a construction materials certification body. The main task is to carry out a certification in accordance with the requirements of normative documents following the testing of building materials produced in the country and imported from abroad.
Interstandartservis is accredited in the national system of accreditation as a furniture certification. The main task is to carry out a certification in accordance with the regulations after the tests of furniture and semi-finished furniture for its production, locally produced and imported from abroad.
Sertifikat Servis is accredited in the national system of accreditation as a food certification body. The main task is to carry out a certification in accordance with the regulations after the tests of products imported from abroad.
Each body is governed by the State Committee regulations. The State Committee carries out registration of certificates issued by them in the state register.
