Began from Oct. 1, the electrolysis process in a new aluminum plant of DETAL Company in Ganja (Azerbaijan) will reach full capacity over the next 40-50 years, a source in the aluminum complex Det-Al told Trend.

The high-quality aluminum ingot A-7 of DETAL AZE will begin to be sold on the global market in November.

One of the largest projects of the country's metallurgical industry, carried out in Ganja, belongs to the new Ganja aluminum plant with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons. The project is implemented by Det-Al Aluminium Company.

The construction of the first phase of the aluminum complex Det-Al, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, has already completed. The foundation of this company was laid on March 3, 2008 by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This phase began operations on Oct. 1, 2011.
