Kazakhstan increases production of energy resources, metal ores in January to November

Kazakhstan increased production of coal, natural gas, crude oil and metal ores in January to November 2011 compared to the same period of 2010, Kazakhstan's Statistics Agency reported.

According to the Agency, in ten months of 2011 Kazakhstan produced 73.3 million tons of oil, including gas condensate (101.2 percent of corresponding period of 2010), 35.9 billion square meters of natural gas (108 percent of corresponding period of 2010), 2.7 million tons of flat section (103 percent), 308,200 tons of purified copper (103 percent), 7.3 million tons of cement (114.5 percent).

Kazakhstan also increased production of chemical and metallurgical industry, machine building and construction materials.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan decreased production of ferroalloy, flour, gasoline in January to November.

In this period the country produced 1.5 million tons of ferroalloy (98.6 percent of corresponding period of 2010), 3.3 million tons of flour (95.5 percent), 2.5 million tons of gasoline (93.3 percent).
