Domestic producers will play a role in whether Kazakh officials will use their cars. Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev said.
"It will be necessary to consider what opportunities automobile plants have to ensure public procurements," he said.
Earlier, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed to purchase Kazakh cars for government agencies and national companies.
Zhamishev said car manufacturing in Kazakhstan includes the subassembly of imported cars.
