Georgian Highways Department starts cleaning roads to Russia

The Georgian Highways Department has started cleaning snow on the roads leading to the Russian border, the department told Trend on Friday.
Technology has started cleaning snow on the Krestov pass to open traffic on the Gudauri-Kobi section.
After cleaning road highway cars will be able to move toward the Upper Lars check point on the Georgian-Russian border.
Snowfall in Georgia stopped at noon. If the weather does not change and there is no danger of avalanches, the road will be cleaned in two days.
