The Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) is ready to provide full support to German companies wishing to establish and expand their business in Azerbaijan, vice-president of AZPROMO Gulshan Rzayeva said on Monday at the first economic forum 'Azerbaijan - Land of North Rhine-Westphalia'.
"Successive visits of German companies to Azerbaijan show their interest in the Azerbaijani market which in turn, is in the interests of the country," Rzayeva said.
Executive director of the German-Azerbaijani Economic Union (DAWF) Florian Schroeder also reiterated the desire to make every effort to expand trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Germany.
The economic forum was attended by about 80 companies operating in banking, hotel business, energy, construction, nanotechnology, construction, agriculture, engineering, industry, manufacturing and other fields.
The event was organised by NRW International and the Dortmund Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Energy, Construction and Transport of North Rhine-Westphalia. Support was also provided by the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan and AZPROMO.
