Prices on new housing increased by 1.3 percent in Kazakhstan in August 2012, compared to the previous month, the Kazakh Statistics Agency said today.
The prices increased in August by 8.4 percent compared to the same month of last year.
According to the agency, the average cost per square meter of housing in the country was $111.
The prices on reselling comfortable housing rose by 1.1 percent to $ 800 per square meter over this period.
The prices on reselling uncomfortable housing rose by 0.9 percent and hit about $ 480 per square meter.
