Georgia imported around $544.74 million worth of products from Azerbaijan in January-November 2013, a report on foreign trade of GruzStat, the national statistical service of Georgia said.
The volume of import from Azerbaijan to Georgia decreased by 4.75 percent during the reporting period compared to the same period of 2012. For comparison, Georgia imported some $571.88 million worth of Azerbaijani goods in January-November 2012.
Azerbaijan ranks third in the list of countries which import products from Georgia. The specific weight of Azerbaijani import in the total volume of goods delivered to the country amounts to 7.7 percent.
Georgia imports most of its goods from Turkey. The volume of Georgian import from Turkey amounted to $1.2 billion or 17 percent of the total volume of import in January-November. 2013.
In total, Georgia imported some $7.06 billion worth of goods in January-November 2013 which is 8.43 percent less than the same period of 2012.
