Assets of American Insurance Company's subsidiary in Azerbaijan reduce by over 5%

The assets of American Insurance Company's subsidiary in Azerbaijan - Chartis Azerbaijan amounted to 8.65 million manat as of 2013, decreasing by 5.46 percent, the company's balance sheet said on April 17.

Some 5.41 million manat were accumulated on deposit accounts and 0.81 million manat were invested in securities in 2013, according to the report.

Chartis Azerbaijan's paid authorized capital hit 6.79 million manat as of 2013 and similar to 2012.

The company completed 2013 with a net profit of 154,860 manat.

The company's total capital as of late 2013 amounted to 6.48 million manat, decreasing by 2.4 percent compared to 2012.

The company's total liabilities amounted to 2.16 million manat, decreasing by 13.94 percent, capital and liabilities as a whole hit 8.65 million manat.
