Germany is ready to become Kazakhstan’s partner in terminal construction

Germany is ready to become a partner of Kazakhstan in the construction of terminals in its ports in the North and Baltic Seas, chairman of the association for cooperation with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe Marcus Felsner said at the "Day of Kazakhstan's economy" in Hamburg, the Kazakh foreign ministry reported.

"Germany is ready to act as a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in the construction of the Kazakh transport and logistics terminals in its ports on the shores of the North and Baltic Seas," he said.

"Kazakhstan is Germany's important strategic partner in Central Asia, which accounts for 85 percent of Germany's total trade turnover with the regional countries," he said.

Kazakh ambassador to Germany Bolat Nusupov urged the German partners to jointly implement the perspective projects in the development of transit-transport potential of Kazakhstan and the formation of a joint logistics base in the German ports.

Over 150 leading representatives of official, economic, business and expert circles of Germany attended the "Day of Kazakhstan's Economy" in Hamburg.
