Latvian President Andris Berzins will visit Tbilisi November 25 at the invitation of Georgian counterpart Giorgi Margvelashvili.

The official part of the visit will begin on November 26, the Georgian president's administration said.

An official welcoming ceremony will be held in Avlabar presidential residence.

Afterwards, the two leaders will meet face-to-face and then in an expanded format. Following the meeting, the presidents of Georgia and Latvia will hold a joint press conference.

During the visit, President Berzins will meet with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Speaker Davit Usupashvili.

President Berzins and members of the delegation will lay a wreath at the memorial to those who died for Georgia's territorial integrity on Heroes' Square.

President Berzins will participate in the Georgian-Latvian business forum. The bilateral agreements are planned to be formalized with various ministries.

Margvelashvili and Berzins will visit Batumi November 27. There will be a meeting with the chairman of the Ajara Government Archil Khabadze. The Honorary Consulate of Latvia will open. The investment projects will be presented as part of the business forum. The sides will sign an agreement on Batumi and Jurmala twinning.

The presidents of Georgia and Latvia will also visit the National Naval Academy, where they will sign a memorandum on cooperation.

The Latvian delegation's visit to Georgia will end on November 27.
