Turkmenistan signed contracts with foreign companies for the sale of cotton products worth over $30.321 million, the Turkmen government said in a message.

The Swiss Paul Reinhart AG, Rezana Trading SA, Turkey’s Calik Cotton and Singapore’s Olam International Ltd. are among the buyers of Turkmen cotton products.

The deals were concluded within the framework of the sixth international cotton exhibition-fair and conference "Cotton Products of Turkmenistan and the Global Market" held in Ashgabat Dec. 3-4.

This year, Turkmen farmers have collected more than one million tons of valuable raw materials, consolidating the country's positions as a supplier of high-quality cotton fiber and textiles produced of it.
