Production of agricultural products increase in Kazakhstan

The gross output of agricultural products in Kazakhstan amounted to 3.8 billion tenge ($11.5 million) in January-November of 2017, which is 2.3 percent higher year on year.

Growth in agricultural output is due to an increase in crop production by 1.4 percent, sheep and poultry meat by 5.2 percent, raw milk by 2.9 percent.

The growth of agricultural production in eleven months compared to the same period of 2016 was recorded in 12 regions of the country, including Mangistau, Kyzylorda and Pavlodar.

In Mangistau region, the increase of agricultural production followed the output growth of crop production by 16.6 percent, chicken eggs by 2.7 percent, cow milk by 20.3 percent, and meat by 1.7 percent.

In Kyzylorda region, the growth of agricultural production was due to an increase in the output of crop production by 5.5 percent, chicken eggs by 17.7 percent, meat by 2.6 percent, and cow milk by 1.3 percent.

In Pavlodar region, the growth of agricultural output was affected by an increase in crop production by 4.5 percent, chicken eggs by 20.7 percent, meat by 9.7 percent and cow milk by 1.9 percent.
