Kafolat insurance company, the second biggest company of Uzbekistan, concluded 726,000 agreements worth 80.3 billion soums in 2017 that is 6.6 percent more than in 2016, the company’s senior specialist for public relations Mehribon Rayimjanova told Trend Feb. 2.
In particular, the volume of insurance premiums on voluntary types of insurance increased by 3.9 percent and amounted to 43.3 billion soums, while the premiums on compulsory types of insurance rose by 22.1 percent up to 37 billion soums, she said.
Meanwhile, the volume of payments increased by 36.6 percent and reached 23.9 billion soums in 2017. The payments on voluntary types of insurance increased by 47.1 percent up to 7.5 billion soums, while the payments on compulsory types of insurance rose by 32.2 percent up to 16.4 billion soums.
Kafolat insurance company JSC was established in 1997 and currently, the company has 15 branches, 38 departments and 112 agencies in all regions of Uzbekistan.
