Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has met Stefano Pampalone, chief operating officer for APAC (Asia and Pacific) region at CNH Industrial, Turkmenistan State News Agency reported.

Pampalone said the company he represents is interested in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan. At the meeting, the sides discussed possibilities of implementing new joint investment projects.

Berdimuhamedov noted that at this stage, special attention is paid to reforming the agricultural sector, complete modernization of its material and technical base, including equipping it with the newest vehicles.

This opens up broad prospects for further cooperation, Berdimuhamedov added.

Compliance of agricultural machinery with local soil and climatic conditions, high quality, universality and reliability are the main requirements in solving the issues of engineering and technical support for agriculture, he said.
