UzChasys Uzbek-S. Korean joint enterprise in Namangan is planning to begin manufacturing of components for renewed line of the Russian Lada cars from July 2018, the press service of the Uzbek government said.
“UzChasys will manufacture and supply to enterprises of the AvtoVAZ company head lights for Lada Granta FL car, number plate lamps for Lada Vesta SW/SW Cross, as well as some 10 types of lighting lamps for Lada 2190, Lada 2191, Lada 8450, Lada 1117 and Lada 1119 cars,” the press office stated.
To implement the project jointly with the AvtoVAZ the Uzbek manufacturer is planning to use modern technology of Indian Neolite Zkw Lightings Pvt Ltd and German Genter Service GmbH. Some 35 new jobs will be created.
It was reported earlier that the Russian AvtoVAZ is planning to export to Uzbekistan roughly 4,000 cars by the end of 2018. The Russian car manufacturer is also willing to organize own dealer centers network across the republic.
