The first meeting of the single platform for open discussion of investment proposals of foreign and Uzbek investors will be held on July 12 in the conference hall of Crystal Ballroom of the International hotel in Tashkent, "Podrobno.uz" reported.
The purpose of the meetings of the single platform is to conduct broad information sharing about the available resource, industrial and investment potential of the country, as well as to establish and deepen direct and constructive dialogue between local and foreign investors, state and economic management agencies, and other participants in the investment process.
This single platform will be used to implement mechanisms for transparent and timely discussions of investment proposals from foreign and local investors, heads of of state and economic management agencies, including the identification of acceptable investment options, operative solution of specific problems, identification of systemic issues requiring a comprehensive review and consistent decisions.
The weekly meetings are organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Investments, with the participation of the Commissioner under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of business entities.
The meetings will be held in the format of open doors, and all interested persons will be able to take part: foreign and domestic investors, representatives of diplomatic missions of foreign countries in the Republic of Uzbekistan, heads of state and economic management agencies.
