Turkish company to build big hotel in Turkmenistan’s Ashgabat

Turkey’s Ronesans Endustri Tesisleri Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. was awarded a contract for construction of the Garagum hotel with a business center in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State News Agency reported Aug. 9.

A corresponding decree was signed by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. According to the document, construction is planned to be launched in September 2018 and the hotel will be fully commissioned in February 2021.

About 600 Turkish companies, which were entrusted with such major projects as the construction of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port, the international airport of the capital of Turkmenistan, highways, transport hubs and flyovers, work in Turkmenistan.

Moreover, Turkish companies take an active part in the construction of chemical facilities in Turkmenistan.

Productive interaction is present in the electric power industry, where the Turkish companies implement a project to modernize Ashgabat’s energy systems and build big power plants in the regions.
