Products of the Tokar research and production enterprise should be of interest to Azerbaijani industrialists, as the company can offer its partners in Baku the highly effective concrete additives that can protect the buildings under construction from external undesirable factors, Oleg Bazoev, the Tokar CEO, which produces high-performance additives for concrete, told Trend.

"Our company is developing quite competitive products, which surpass the best foreign analogues by all indicators. We believe that our products can be attractive to residents of coastal areas where groundwater accumulates the most. The fact is that ordinary concrete, which is used in construction work, easily transmits water, so it must be waterproofed and protected from water. But, as you know, any waterproofing has some service life, say, 10 or a maximum of 15 years. Moreover, every building is operated 50 or even 100 years. This means that for such a too long period of time the waterproofing ceases to have effect and the concrete is left one-on-one with water, which is extremely undesirable," Bazoev said.

He noted that it is expedient to purchase highly effective technological additives developed by the enterprise, since no waterproofing is required after their use.

"Roughly speaking, with the introduction of these technologies, it is possible to build houses not only on land but also in water," Bazoev said.

He noted that the industrial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia should be strengthened, because an interaction exists, but it is not sufficient.

Bazoev noted that there are a number of areas in which it is necessary to strengthen bilateral cooperation, and this concerns not only the trade and economy, but also the industry.
