Royal Dutch Shell may start producing fuels, lubricants in Uzbekistan

Royal Dutch Shell is interested in organizing production of fuels and lubricants in Uzbekistan, Uzbek media reported citing Vice-President of the company Joanna Kuenssberg.
She noted that the positive changes taking place in Uzbekistan over the past two years have made Uzbekistan more attractive to foreign investors.
In this regard, Shell is interested in implementing the project for production of fuels and lubricants, in particular, to meet the needs of large industrial enterprises.
The company representative also noted that Shell has the opportunity to attract funds from the UK Export Finance in the amount of up to 1.2 billion pounds to implement energy projects in Uzbekistan.
