Till 2025, 1,000 kilometers of railroads should be built in Iran to achieve the railway development prospect, Mehrdad Lahuti, member of the Parliamentary Committee, said in an interview with IRNA.
Lahuti added that over the last few years, on average, 170-200 kilometers were laid per year.
He said that this Iranan year (started on March 21, 2018) the parliament has authorized the government to use local and foreign investments worth $7 billion to invest in national projects.
