By Rashid Shirinov – Trend:

Over the past two years, the number of recipients of export certificates in the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan has increased by 40 percent, Trend reports referring to the Kazakh media.

Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the region Galymbek Zhaksylykov said that in 2009, CT-KZ certificates, showing that goods are produced in Kazakhstan, were introduced in the country to support domestic producers.

"Since 2014, the regional chambers have undertaken the issuing of certificates of goods’ origin. In our region, such certificates are issued for the export of rice, fish, salt, fuel oil, oil and vanadium ore," he said.

Zhaksylykov noted that the fact that the number of export certificates has increased by 40 percent over the past two years, means that the volume of exports in the Kyzylorda region is increasing.

Last year alone, 1,065 export certificates and 104 ST-KZ certificates were issued in the region. Today Kyzylorda products are exported not only to the CIS countries, but also to China, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Latvia and Switzerland.

The head of the chamber also noted that CT-KZ certificates were issued for rice, purified water, reinforced concrete products, building materials, polymer pipe, salt, technical products, milk, construction lime, oil equipment, and chemical products.
