Azerbaijan’s Zagatala Tea Factory intends to increase tea production by 1,000 tons till the end of this year, the factory told Trend.
“The factory increased the production of black tea by almost 2,000 tons in 2018,” the factory said.
"Over 6,000 tons of tea were produced in 2017 and about 8,000 tons of tea in 2018,” the factory said. “The prices of our tea are stable. For example, the retail price of one kilogram of tea is 35 manats, while wholesale price ranges from 28 manats to 30 manats."
The factory’s tea has a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijan State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
The Georgian equipment has been installed in the factory.
